You are in luck, and have shown up at the right time... Check out these link for more information..Originally posted by BenoitOWNI am new to the mags community but could I get more info about the ACE? I have an E-mag and would be interested in 1.
Dammit so who can do the required milling and such to fits on an E-mag?

All of that info should be in the first link:Originally posted by koolalI would like at least one ACE Board for my Grandson's XMAG.
Possibly one with milling for my new TUNA ETAC.
Can I get an idea how much the TUNA ETAC might cost to do the milling and install the ACE?
Thanks,
Al

after the new board is in the prototype emag and unveiled to you guys, the order will be placed very soon after that. The boards will take ~5 weeks to make.Comment

I'll probably pick one up assuming it comes with the necessary wiring....
So are we purchasing the board and then suppose to send off the body for milling separately? Or are you, KC, and looper consolidating efforts to do an all-in-one service (milling + install)?
I'm a little confused by the multiple threads going on this......either way, I'm interested.Comment

I am currently making all the required cables for the board and sending them to KC for inclusion into the "kit". The cables I am making for him include the connection from the battery bolt in the top with eye and heat shrink, the orange wire with plug and tourney jumpers, the red power to main board and the yellow to main board.Originally posted by ArtimisI'll probably pick one up assuming it comes with the necessary wiring....

Sajjad and I have independently tried to document the dimensions from our XMags to come up with a blind study of the ACE Milling.
I am also currently working on a How To document for the ACE assembly as there are two solder points to make on the back side of the EMag Main Board
KC can talk better about the rest of the process but I believe he is currently talking to a few of the AO community machinist and sending out frames for test work.
The below post kind of sums up everything to date.

i just dont understand the other post. you say you have done two runs already...but yet your going on talking as if your still working on the very first one. Then you want people to get in "line" for the next batch, but yet you just point people to that other thread.
just dont understand this "progress" at all.

This thread was to gauge interest. Since it's creation, I've found a partner and have things rolling.
I have made and sold two batches of ten already.
They were focused toward Xmags, just a drop in replacement.
The next run will be easier to install into an emag. You will have the option of buying wiring kits and milling services or having it all installed.
A prototype emag is being milled now. Once the board is installed it will be showcased here, and preorders will start.Comment
