    EP Battery foregrip

After creating my last EP sleeper mag I thought I would offer some of the parts here on AO.

Battery foregrip (only the foregrip & internals are included in the sale):

This marker complete without barrel hopper or tank is only 40oz. My mini weighs 32oz. My Emag weighs 62oz.

Here is a rough sketch of how the foregrip is made. This sketch is not exact.

    As for specs
The complete foregrip with carbon fiber outside tube weighs ~5.6oz
The complete foregrip with aluminum outside tube weighs ~6.3oz
The overall length is ~5.25" long
The outside diameter for the foregrip is 1.0"
    The foregrip uses 3 batteries

The foregrip does require the rail to be drilled to allow for the wires & bolts. Here is a sample pic of the holes on the bottom of one of my rails.

There are a few ways you can order the foregrip. All foregrips include 6 X Rechargable 750mAh batteries, 1 battery charger, & 2 X top mount screws

    Option A (raw)
    1 X raw(unannodized) bottom cap
    1 X raw(unannodized) outside tube

    Option B (Carbon fiber)
1 X gloss black bottom cap
1 X Carbon fibeer outside tube

    Option C (Black)
1 X gloss black bottom cap
1 X gloss black outside tube

Option A = 142 shipped via usps priority with ins
    Option B & C = 152 shipped via usps priority with ins

All foregrips will include directions on installing the foregrip.

I do not have these in stock currently. The estimated time it will take is ~ 4 weeks to ship. Please post or pm me if you are intrested.

    My feedback.
Had a great transaction - or a not so great one - post your results here!

      questions.

I have a few questions on the setup if i may ask them. maybe others are having the same.

      1) what is the total voltage of the three batteries together?

      2) How is charging done? i assume that the bottom "cap" would unscrew and then you just put the three batteries onto a charger?

      Thank for your time,
      -Chris

the batteries are 3v each. When 100% charged I am getting 10.2v

Yep the bottom cap just unscrews, batteries are placed in a charger. The charger holds 2 batteries at a time.

Josh, Awesome job. This is exactly what AOer's needs for a electropneu option...

I have hacked up ALOT of pieces to try to make 15* ones. It can be done, but it is very difficult to drill and tap holes on an angle. I am sure there are people here with better machinery/equipment that could probably do that for you. (maybe luke) I would be more than happy to sell kits with "extra material" at a discount rate if you want to try.

Thanks. That is what I am going for. A reason to put the mini/ego/shockeer/etc back in the closet, and play with a reliable, light weight, user friendly marker.

Okay, I'm just a little in the dark here. I'm assuming the batteries are powering a board and solenoid in the grip frame. Is this the case? Is this like an egomag or devilmag, or is it some new magic I've never heard of?

What I meant was is it using a pancake noid or an mpa3? Could we see some pics of the inside of the frame?

I love that carbon fiber foregrip, by the way.

here is some of the "how to" I started. I have pics here, but ao is lagging, and the search is not loading, but there are some here somewhere. Actually I hope this post makes it.

I have more pics somewhere on my desk/pc. I need to finish the others that I have.
