ya, i must agree with watcher on this one. The body looks a lot..... different than i had imagined/seen in the draw ups before.

is this the final production model? or is there going to be some more fluidness going on.

Thats the draw back of having a breach that rotates to the different angles .

It breaks up the side of the gun .

Deburing , polishing and anodizing will help blend it better ~ ~

Or a fatter body and a fatter breach....

That's ok. that just means that someone can make a delrin snap on piece that helps smooth out everything... Actually, I'm imagining it right now....

And I knew that 45 would be weird no matter how you cut it.

Edit: is the body sticking out just a touch far in front of the frontblock? or is that an emag length body?

Edit 2: YAAAY For completed pictures!!

Right, it's square which means emag style.

But it will end up being flush with the frontlbock right?

Thats actually a really great idea, shouldnt be that hard to make either, just need a way to snap it on without scratching the body.

Thanks to everyone at PTP who made these bodies possible, you guys ROCK!!

Thats why you use Delrin or some other softish type plastic. Make it a lopsided 'C' shaped so it cups around the round part of the breech. Square on top to fill in the gap between the body, and a pair of arms that are chamfered to smooth out between the 'top' of the breech and the sides.

Bah! I soo need inventor and this drawing file and then it would be easy to mock up...

Delrin would probably be the best way to go, but over time if you are constantly taking it on and off it could possibly cause some anno ware.

Why on earth would you constantly take something like that on and off?

For swapping between warp and vertical modes. Which, honestly I don't see myself doing often, but may do time to time.

New question: will these bodies have serial numbers of some sort? Either laser etched or stamped or something?
