See if you can find someone on the forum that has a good source. There are a bunch of great anodizers out there. We can add it to a stripping/ano run at the shop, but honestly Russell normally has so few parts that need strip and ano re-work that it can be months... You have to be careful with the grip frame because over-stripping, etching, can remove too much material in some areas. Tolerances are very tight... As far as battery box, etc., it's not usually a problem.

*EDIT: The regular RT/Classic length front frame screw is also way too long. Please advise.
Hmmm... Everything should be the same. I bolted up an e-Micro grip frame on Thursday and it should be either a 10-32 x 1/2" or 10-32 x 5/8" - Please check the length and let me know - I'll look at it when I get into the shop in the morning,

              It's SAE 10/32tpi. Approx .865 threaded area.
              .5-.625 =/= .865

Despite the incorrect address I have the parts in my possession now.

I was suprised how small the body and breech is when I had it in my hands versus the pictures.

Thanks - that's all good. The length should be 1/2" which is pretty much what we've always used on the Micros, possibly 5/8" depending upon the manufacturer, as they can run as much as .030" short. The idea is to get as much thread engagement as possible and it was designed for a 1/2" (.500) length screw. Since we needed a little extra room for the detent in the 3 and 9 o'clock positions there is a channel milled in the body in that area. If the screw is actually .500" that is a good thing. If it runs on the short side I would personally go with a 5/8" and grind it down until it is flush. This is not a design issue, but simply a fact of life with hardware...

                                Where to begin?

I received mine, but now I have no idea where to begin.

I couldn't find a thread about building up a MM2K9, but maybe we need to sticky one in the tech forum. We can all share what parts we used, and maybe get some help choosing parts and putting it all together...

                                EDIT:
I created a thread, unless someone can point me to one...
This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!
