          RAIL GET!

I love seeing packages on my doorstep, and I love seeing what's in those packages, especially when it's mounted on my Emag.

Now to get you some pre-order money for the matching body...

Obviously, it looks great. It'll look much better once I put in an X-valve and matching body though.

That rail looks clean on there.

Mongoose- I'll get some pics of mine in a couple of days when the Chimera frame I just bought gets here.

Here's the pics I promised. I still need to buy a pneu kit that will fit in the chimera frame, the one I have from a yframe won't fit.

So, I got my rail today (looks awesome, thanks!) - it's my first RT rail and I bought a 15* ASA to go along with it. I'm probably going to feel stupid in a minute but I can't figure out how to attach it!

My old AM/MM rail had a single hole to attach the vertical ASA, easy. This rail just has a long cut down it with no obvious holes. At http://themagsmith.com/store/index.p...d&productId=60 the page says to use the 'dual 10-32 holes for the RT Pro/Tac/Newer Automag/Minimag rails.'

The rail has no holes and the screws are too small to just hold it tight against the rail.

                        What am I missing?

Put the screws through the slot via the top...

Well, that's what I tried but they seemed like they are a bit too small to fit flush against the rail. Is that how it is supposed to work - the screws just sit there against the slot in the rail?

You can use either the larger single screw or the dual smaller screws with this rail. The smaller ones do come close to the edge of the channel so adding washers under the heads will do the trick. It also helps in saving the rail from the screws digging into the soft aluminum. I would use washers everywhere I can on the marker if I was you. Helps keep the damage to a minimum and resale will be better.

That "long cut" is there so you can adj your grip closer or further away depending on how you like it.

Makes sense. Thanks. Now I just have to figure out why the valve is freaking out after I switched to this rail and a new body. Unfortunately it leaked the rest of the air out of my tank so I won't be able to mess with it for a while :|
