What is the cost for this mod? And the turn around time?

    Thanks!

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply, but yes, I am still doing this mod, both on ULE and SS bodies.

Dover, I had pics posted, but I'm having a bit of trouble with the server that they're hosted on right now. If you'd like, I can email you the pictures.

I have a classic mag project that I want to finish next month and send it off to BB for ano. Already have a Luke's praxis rail and the SS body will be vert mod'd. Would like to shave some weight on the SS body.

How many pre-orders do you need? I'm interested in having this mod done.

Unfortunately, yes. Unless there's a fairly large interest, and I could get some pre-orders, I can't justify the time and expense to do a run of them.

Are you still thinking about this, or is it shelved?
So is this body still on the back burner?

Yes, it does make removing the ring inside the body a LOT easier.

Looks like this has already been beaten into the ground, but just to confirm - yes, I would have the CF mod done before anodizing. Anodizing shouldn't affect the fit between the CF sleeve and the breech. Just make sure you line up the sear slot in line with frame screw hole on the underside of the breech when you put the CF sleeve back on.

Oh, and just another note - when removing the CF sleeve, pull straight back on the sleeve. It also might help to give it a little twist as you go. If you tilt the sleeve at all while you're pulling back on it, there's a chance you might crack the sleeve.
