    Andy,

Are you out or still taking work for these?

I also need two or more dogbone milled am/mm rails.

and so i don't have to send my stuff to multiple machinist, do you do freak boring or cocker threading by chance?

    LMK
    Thanks,
    Scott

      Scott,

I have one slot open on the last of my CF modifications. If you want it, its all yours. No problem on the rails, but I'll have to pass on the barrel work - too many irons in the fire right now.

Sold! Well, that does it, boys - no more CF modifications for the time being. I'll let you all know if/when this becomes available again.

Thanks to everyone over the years for your support!

To everyone that currently has a body sent out to me to be modified: I will be completing all of these mods this weekend and should be shipping them all back out on Monday.

            Thanks!

Got mine in today and having some issues. Seems like the body is sliding backwards just slightly. It is enough to cause the body to interfere with the sear. When I compare to another CF body that I have, I noticed that the hole in the body that the on/off pin goes through is slightly larger in the old body vs the new. Not sure if the previous owner did this. When I swap the CF insert from one body to the next, the old one works in the new body. I don't have a problem increasing the hole size slightly in the new CF insert, but not crazy about the small gap that is appearing between the body and the CF insert. Its a black marker and the raw aluminum sticks out like a sore thumb. Anyone else having this issue? Is gluing the CF insert to the body the solution? If so, what glue?

for me i would say new cf insert is the best solution.

Inserts are the same length, so not sure what that will accomplish.

i was just thinking if the insert wrong have a new one replace it.

but if you want to glue it there are some good stuff out there.
just give a carbon fiber plate company a call and ask them what they recommend to glue cf to aluminum.

Thinking some simple two part epoxy will do it from a couple of things I read.
