don't be sorry there arnt many photos... I work for one of these companies. I know how it goes -

Normally they do not allow photo graphs of the process for protection of their methods and other customer products.
So after the photos are taken, they are passed off to a QC department over in PR (I think) and they edit the photos and send them to me.
Video was out of the question in this stage. I am not sure if they will do it for the assembly process..... But it would be cool to see.
They are sending more photos of the masking and layout next week after QC edits the photos.
Sorry there is no more news than a few photos.....Leave a comment:

Typically PCB CAD is a very specialized program. Not something easily done with what most think of when you say CAD.
Jai: Im very surprised they allowed pictures. Most of those manufacturers wont consider them at all.Leave a comment:

UPDATE
board house just called me.
They wanted some more information on the pictures I asked for.
The QC department has passed the request as "okay" to allow a camera in the lab when they build the boards on the cut line.
Waiting to hear about the assembly process okay....
The guy on the phone was rather curious as to why I asked for them.... At the end of the phone call... He though it was pretty neat and has never had a request for photos come across his department (QC)Leave a comment:
