Do know the manufacturer number and brand of the LED? I'm considering buying a diffused lens to mount, unless you would recommend against that.

Looks like we are all caught up for now. Lots of guys need to make an AO return and get delivery and final payment settled.

At this point there are two of you on here that I owe extra equipment to. bbotts77 you are one......

I will be sending out parts this coming Wednesday via USPS.

Please look for them come next week and advise if not sayisfied.

PROGRAMMING:

The programming tutorial is lacking. If anyone needs help programming your board this weekend on Sunday I will be around all day (it looks).

If you have a iPhone you can FaceTime me and I will walk you through the process step by step to get you going. (We are setting up your board, not tuning your gun with air!)

If you don't have an iPhone, we can work over the phone and I will walk you through the steps.

I do, not without looking at my schematic or BOM. I had to buy them in bulk direct from factory.

Sorry it's so bright, i was thinking about guys with clear panels, solid panels ,.... I didn't want to have people upset over the color and brightness.

You are on the correct path to use a cover. Don't put anything over the LED directly (tape),...... Bad things will occur :-(

No worries about the brightness. You're right, it works better for more setups. Plus multi diode LEDS was a great alternative to a screen, and brighter ones are usually better quality from what I've seen.

Now I just need to learn Morris code so off-field players can direct me while they're in programming mode

Or use it to blind the enemy....

I suppose I could "frost" the little plastic window itself if I wanted. That may be they safest and easiest solution now that I think about it....

Now I've to install it...................

just as a friendly reminder if you are installing these into and empty frame,
instead of replacing a board, you will need the solenoid mount.

So...where are all the reviews?! After anxiously waiting five years for this product, I figured you guys would be chomping at the bit to put these boards through the paces.

Is it as advertised? Useful modes/features? Improved battery life? ACE Support? This thread was one of the few reasons I still visit AO. While I had no dog in the fight, I felt emotionally vested to see it to fruition/failure.

they are perfect. just went and plugged and play, I have not messed with any setting yet.

I am 3D printing panels for the LED display now they are coming out awesome
