What about a warp tac? It doesn't have the square block on the warp side like the warp ULE; just a tapped feedneck.

I think I can give you a way to do(atempt) this on a warp body. Move the left side eye back just past the feed neck(on a warp left body), then rotate the milling on the eye slots to keep alignment
It may work, depends on how much fudge room there is. As long as they can keep alignment it does not matter that there line of sight is not totally perpendicular to the bolt movement. No promises

Not sure how much room there would be for the ball rolling back and forth in the breach, it could cause some headaches on the field.Originally posted by hill160881I think I can give you a way to do(atempt) this on a warp body. looking at the Ion CAD and ULE Body CAD, I'll bet a channel could be milled in a ULE to use stock Ion eyes. You would need a 4th axis of some sort too. Of course you'd also need to make eye covers if you did that.Comment

Just got back from the field and gave the new hidden eyes a pretty good workout. Here's a quick little review followed by a video.
Turn around time and quality of work was top notch as is usual when dealing with Luke's Customs. After taking the time to get everything put back together nice and neat I headed out to the backyard to rip off some paint and test the eyes out. Unfortunately I didn't have much air but I was able to tell that it was definately shooting faster than the 15bps cap that the Star frame has while the eyes are disabled/non-existent. So today I played for 4 hours or so and went through one case of paint. Obviously with the eyes on, and Lvl 10 as backup, I had zero chops. It never even skippped a beat, just kept slinging paint. I haven't had the time or resources yet to find out just how fast it can shoot, but in the video I have it capped at 20bps and it is smooth as butter
.
Again, big thanks to Hill for coming up with this whole idea and thanks to Luke for being the man who made it happen
Ramping @ 20bps
