hi, wonderig about the structure of these detents.
are they made of metal or plastic, or mix of both?

Most of the housings are metal with a few being plastic. The detent itself is delrin with teflon and sorry... I should have made it clear... free shipping is within the US. Shipping to Canada is $5.75.
