How well do these (mainly the Mega) do as far as air travel? I currently have a Dye 4Day Roller that needs to be replaced.

To be honest... I've never tried to use it for air travel; however, I can honestly say that mine has held up extremely well for the last few years. I forgot when I picked one up for myself, but it's probably 3 to 4 years old and still going strong. Sorry I can't offer any other info regarding air travel...

Well... it's not armor coated and I would never drop my gear from that height; however, I can say that's my bag has fallen out of my friends truck bed without issue. Hope that helps...
