Bump with a Q.
Have you considered doing laser etching yourself?
Some AO hex emblems or AGD lions would be pretty sharp, in addition to all the other possibilities.
**edit**
While we're at it, how about a nice pump handle to replace the CCM delrin and polys? Wood pump handle = comfy. Just bolts on to the plate.Last edited by Spider-TW; 06-27-2008, 10:07 AM.Comment

The laser etching is not something that I want to do. It involves a sigificant capital investment in equipment that cannot pay for itself. There are people that can already do this. Todd at Gruntbull has a source that can do it, and I know that there are others over on PBN that can do it. The pump handles are something that I have looked into doing. At the moment, I am not set up to do this. All my wood stock is thinner than what is needed to do a pump handle. So, I would have to stock blocks big enough to do this, and this size wood is a bit harder to come by and more expensive to buy. Also, I dont have the plates to adapt the handles to. If there is enough interest in this, then I can do it, but, not quickly.Originally posted by Spider-TWBump with a Q.

Nice. There is a wood called Purpleheart, and it is Toxic. I found out the hard way, so I dont use it anymore. Lost three days work grinding that wood. But, I do have some Wavy Redwood that would look good on that gun. Purple is a tough color, you are very limited if you are looking for a match. If it was only Red or Blue, I could fix you right up. On the other end, I do have lots of light colored woods. Got some Flame Maple, Prima Vera (white Mahogany) and probably some Cherry, if I look hard enough. Pure black Ebony, I dont have at the moment, but I do have some Asian Ebony Ironwood, its a dark, grained wood with lighter streaks in it. It will be very nice finished out. Also, have some Black Canvas Micarta that I just got in as well and it will finish out a grey color.
But, to match your Ano, sorry, cant do that.WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.Comment
