ot****Great News***** Cool Hand Got hold of me just before I left for vacation and told me about an improvement that he has added to these frames. Instead of a square back as they have had in the past they will have rounded edges. So where the heal of your hand sits on the back of the frame will be rounded of to fit more comfortably! Not only are you guys getting in on the only issue of these to be made in a long time but you are now getting an improved frame. Get those deposits in guys this may be the last run of these things ever made. I will definately not have time to get another run together for at least a year or more after these are done. As you can see from warwitch's thread (and other recent for sale threads) you are getting an anodized improved product for less than the going rate!

We are somewhere between 28-30 frames. That is with a couple of people paying for two. If we don't get a lot more people off the list of shame the order may not go through. In order to keep costs down and get this done we need about 20 more people (or 10 more if you want to be like joelbird) to get their money to me on schedule.

I have some massive updating to do after the mail gets here tomorrow. Several people have sent me MO's and some more have been paying. I will give you all accurate counts tomorrow.

The only list that matters now is the deposit paid list. The list of shame is just to let people know who follows through and who doesn't. I will also send out a pm tomorrow to double check on who is paying and who isn't. Thanks for all the support guys. Lets rally and get this done. With the improvement I am really looking forward to getting one of these on my gun. Mmmm so nice.

I have to tell you, the big reason I have been waiting to pay is that I have been thinking on this. Some things that were said in the huge flamewar between dealers thread didn't sit very well with me and paying for this frame directly supports one of those people.

And, yes, I was one of those who did not know that these frames must use the trigger that comes with them, because they do not accept standard AGD triggers. And I don't like blade style triggers. If I missed where that was explained before, please let me know, but I didn't run across it until a post by someone (and I cannot find that post anymore - so it may have been deleted.).

Thinking on it is perfectly acceptable. I am glad you bring that up. I am not sure it is stated in the description on Logic's site and I have not mentioned it here. I will add the information to the main post.

I also forgot to mention that I will be sending an email to everyone that has paid to confirm receipt of payment tomorrow evening.

On the issue of dealer flamewars I would rather not have the subject drudged back up. I have had limited dealings with the dealers here on AO but all of them have been pleasant. As I am now joining the group I am beginning to feel some of the same pains as they do. I am sure all parties are well intentioned and regardless of past conflict each is doing their best to keep us all supplied with some great stuff. I can only answer for this order. I CAN AND WILL NOT get involved with past disputes. I am doing my best to be perfectly straight with you all about these frames. Not only do you have the info from coolhand here in this thread (either straight from him or reiterated by me) BUT you also all have the link to his site where these frames are described and pictured. In the pm (also put in the first post) requesting a deposit I gave everyone a specific list and description of what you would be getting for your money. If I can be any more clear please let me know.

Furthermore it has come up that "paypal does not charge fees if you pay from your balance" while this is true for personal accounts it is NOT true for premier accounts. Since I have a premier account instead of a personal account I am still charged fees. I will be sending a reply to everyone who has payed to confirm receipt of payment. You will see the paypal info on the reply that will show you the fees I am charged. I require you to pay fees regardless of how you pay because I am charged fees regardless of how you pay.

I am not trying to make any money on the sly here. This is the best way I know how to do it. Any suggestions are appreciated. Meanwhile if you haven't mailed your payment yet it would be most prudent for you to make your deposit as soon as possible. Tommorrow is the last day you could mail a money order and still be sure it will be here on time for you to get in on the order. Sunday will be the last day to get a paypal payment to me before I finalize the order. After that the # of frames will be set and you will no longer be able to order.

No, it is entirely true that a premier account is always charged the fee, regardless of the funding source. That is why I had taken it in stride and that aspect did not phase me.
