Also someone has asked again so to recap the grips issue: Dye stickies fit fine as to other 45 degree two hole grips. Hogue or allen grips are also fabulous. I have several allen grips I could add in with someone's order. I will post pics when I get that far.

i was wondering if i can drop my frame from being anno'd to just raw? going to get it to match my gun anyways in the future.

and i was wondering, if i do send it in for anno in the future, will i or the annodizer have to do something prior to anodizing it?

Again you can all drop to raw if you want just be aware that once we get below critical mass the ano price will go up (or I may have to cancel it all together).

Anodizing requires that the frames be "polished" or "finished" first. The machining process does not leave the metal ready to be anodized. Most anodizers don't do both.

I have made special efforts to find an anodizer that does. Part of this larger order is getting these finished and anodized for a reasonable price. You are kidding yourselves if you think you can get the finishing done for less and get the same quality. If you are getting the frame done to match some custom job on your gun be aware that you will need to either find someone that does the anodizing AND finishing or find someone to finish the frame for you prior to anodizing.

thanks matteusz for answering my question. can you polish the frame yourself (not you matteusz, i mean like anyone)? what materials do you use? sort of want a chrome frame unless its a lot of manual work

Polished you can do yourself. Google aluminum polishing or something. Chrome you can't it involves a process that is to my knowledge more difficult than anodizing.

AGD is out of safety assemblies. When I last got an update I was told it could be as much as a month for them to be in stock again.

Nice. Now if only you had the rest of the assembly (spring and ball and screw). I am finding that many of you are very patient people. Even though it is doubtful I am hopeful the safeties will be in before the ano is done.
