automag rt pro centerfeed body non threaded trade for treaded

I was told I should try to trade on here instead of cutting the feed myself but not sure why someone would have a use for this body. Pics can be texted or emailed.

He has a stovepipe body based on his posts on FB.

Translation: I think the body is worthless and do not understand classic builds.

Who are you calling kid? Probably more life experiences already than you'll ever have. Not my first mag either but thanks for the input.

Before this devolves, he posted up on FB about getting this body on a marker and wanted the option of a clamping feedneck. I recognized from his posts what he had and suggested that rather than shelling out $100+ for a ULE, that he might look into cutting down the feedneck and putting a 7/8" clamping one in order to save some coin. Another member suggested he try and trade this for a ULE body as some purists might not like him cutting a body down. I think there was some miscommunication as to the potential value of the body he has. He is simply exploring options as he wants a clamping feedneck on his marker and he is trying not to cut it down so offering it as a trade to someone.

On a slightly related note, he is an adult serving as a firefighter, so assuming he's some "kid" may be considered disrespectful. Let's not assume.

Thank you and what all you posted is exactly true. Trying to post a pic now.

Yep, that's a vert feed SS body. Sometimes referred to as a "stovepipe". As it's black coated, you may be able to get a little more for it as they seem to be more interesting for some people. As I mentioned though in my PM to you, you may want to move this to the MISC PB section as this particular section is reserved for complete markers and not parts.
