    6800 4500 psi carbonfiber tank out of hydro

    Been out of the game about 5 years. Ive got a few of these that went out of hydro last year. How nuch can i realistically expect to get for them?

    It depends on the born on date. Most rehydro costs are around $40. So if there is a year or so on the overall life you won't get much, but if there is 8-10 years left on the tank, then figure 2/3rds the cost of a new tank, minus hydro costs for a price.

      Also depends greatly on the regulator and brand. A Pure Energy tank is going to sell for less than a Ninja.

        A tank is a tank, unless it is something special. A pure energy, CP, Dye or anything but the newer ninja tanks all come from the same place. The only thing that makes them different is the reg attached to them. So i would buy a cheap pure energy tank, toss the reg and put whatever i need for the tank reg.

        But i also think that ninja tanks are crap, IMO.
