    SFL breach!!!

okay so long story short i have the lake sfl and am trying to get an "sfl" breach. i know its a longshot but i've reached out to bunny to no avail as well a few others who may have had an sfl breach stashed. anyway, here is the pic of when assembly started. she has an xvalve in her right now, and a few other goodies.

p.s. the bag of electronics still smells like lake muck, think i'll leave em in there as proof its the lake monster!

If that was my gun, I would be grateful to have the breech you have now...as there are no more ever. I do have some warp breeches that maybe you could redrill or something. I know Tim would love to have the breech you have now.

no lack of appreciation of what i have. i just know there are 5 or so out there for those that need em, and i can't see the lake sfl restoration as not deserving. https://www.automags.org/forums/show...read-V-3/page5

What was the difference, just the SFL logo?

Yea that logo could be recreated easy enough and just machined into your breach..
Jake, is it machined on both sides?

It is on both sides. Pretty sure these are just milled and dual detented euro breaches.

I may have to take some measurements and draw it up in a fusion. I have a few things kicking around in my head i would change right of the bat.

Whats the plan for the 'feedneck ring', threaded, pressed in, or incorporated/machined into the breech?

That was one of the things im back and forth on. Thinking about incorporating it into the breach. Definitely not threaded.
Looking at some cam stuff now to see how that will shake out though.

Personally I would incorporate it, but you would have to redesign the sight rail

That was one of the things i was scratching my head one. I was trying to figure out how to make that flow into the feedneck portion, but keep the feature.
