i read in the forums earlier saying that you can use compressed air in co2 tanks? and somethign about co2 eatin up the walls or something on the inside. what if you bought a new co2 tank and used compressed air? could you use the same valve or whatever or do you have to get a new one?

Um.. no.
It is possible to haev CO2 in a N2 tank as long as you have a co2 valve in the tank.
But hte other way around is not true. I am pretty sure normal co2 valves are not rated for 3k-4.5k and I wouldn't trust hte actualy structure either.-Vegeta

CO2 BOTTLES ARE ONLY RATED FOR ABOUT 1600 PSI!
Be careful... don't try to fill it with 3000 PSI of compressed air. Thank god for the invention of burst discs... as I have heard of people finding this out the HARD way.

i rember this company putting out an inline reg, with fill adapter to fill your co2 tanks to 1800 psi. i wonder what happened to them.
i also rember that pro's used to put a little co2 in their nitrogen tanks, that way their tanks never dropped below 800 psi for a while.
ahh the good old days.As society and the problems that face it become more and more complex and machines become more and more intelligent, people will let machines make more of their decisions for them, simply because machine-made decisions will bring better results than man-made ones. Eventually a stage may be reached at which the decisions necessary to keep the system running will be so complex that human beings will be incapable of making them intelligently. At that stage the machines will be in effective control. People won't be able to just turn the machines off, because they will be so dependent on them that turning them off would amount to suicide
sometimes I just freaking hate people. which means the next day I will love them for the sake of balance, but right now I will just concentrate on the hating. Hate hate hate. Blaaaarg! ;)
