My results of my open vs closed bolt test

ok well as some of u know i recently did an experiment

placeing a target at 25 yards (little more then 1/2 nppl(now psp) standard 10 man feild.

using my micro cocker, (ill post pics later perhaps) with a maxflow 45/45 240 psi output freak 14 inch barrel with a 689 insert shooting 30 balls (after 10 that i used to get my gun on target) 2 balls missed, 4 hit dead center the rest of the balls hit an average 5.25 inches from center (9 inces was the outside edge)

then i switchd to a dark ir3, used the same freak insert and tip, same maxflow set at proper angel output 9didn't set it up was like 180 or something i dunno) same hopper as befor and same balls from the same ase which was pmi evil (orange fill...duh is there ne thing cooler) 30 shots at the same target after 10 test shots

both guns were shooitng at 275 fps. there was no wind except for 2 shots on each gun, 2 sots missed with the angel average diameter of hit was 7.5 inches but 6 hit dead center

over all its tough to say which was better

well your not going to get very good results out of just 30 balls try 100 or 200 for each then look at the results

Did you have the guns mounted in a vice or were you just holding them?

Do it again, using the bell curve like in toms tech tips, it will tell you what is more accurate.
