i was very surprised today when i found an old case of paint in my basement. I believe the temprature there is around a cool 70 degrees. Well when i oppend the paint, which was seeled in 500 rnd packages by the factory and dropped the paint from shoulder hieght i found that 10 month old paint stored in sealed packaging in my basment ( a cool environment) was still fresh. I tried 5 paintballs and the 1st one cracked after 4 drops, the second 6 the third 5 the forth 5 and the 5th paintball after 4. Everyone always makes a big deal about how old paintballs are but could other things factor into the "freshness" of paint like temprature and exposer to air just as much or more then age?
