    ULE trigger for classic

I was reading the post from TK where he said that there was a type C trigger which pushed back on the trigger just as hard as normal but yet the pull weight was still lighter than with an "original" mag. He mentioned there that he would not produce that trigger since due to trigger bounce it would be almost automatically be banned from all tournaments.

Well how about selling that type C trigger to all the classic owners out here? The normal return weight would solve the problems about bolt/sear hang up/resetting but would still allow us to enjoy a lightened trigger pull.

      type-C

it would still require air pressure behind the on/off to reset. the AIR valves are incapable of this.
...but there's an "I" in SNIPER.

Its only the inital blast of air that differentiates the recharge the retro valve from an AIR valve. Its the initial high volume flow that allows the retro valve to charge so quickly.

The trigger pull force of any valve is directly related to the size of the lower section of the pin. This is true for all mag valves. The ULT has a tiny pin an therefor has a tiny trigger pull force.

The ULT reduces kick in the retro by reducing the size of the top of the pin to reduce the initial push force. In the retro, this is still acceptable because it recharges so quickly anyway. In an AIR valve the reduced size means a reduced recharge rate from an already lower value of less than 16 shots per second for a full recharge. Additional restriction is placed on the recharge rate when people don't completely release the trigger, which holds the pin closed slightly, making the flow area smaller.

If the AIR valve had a larger top on its ULT on/off pin it could mimic the operation of the retro valve ULT and maintain a good recharge rate.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
