Couldn't you just switch polarity of both magnets and let the gun fire for you? using the polls to move the trigger back and forth...

Why not just use a microswith at the extreme rearward travel of the trigger, and a solenoid. When the trigger is pulled completely back, the switch makes contact. This signal can be sent to circuit that pulses the solenoid, kicking the trigger forward again. The strength of the effect could be adjusted by altering the travel of the solenoid plunger, the length of time the solenoid is pulsed, and the power delivered with each pulse.Comment

Ok i dont own one so i dont know how it works but arent intelli frames hooked up with a switch of some sort. That then runs to a set of wires that are supposed to hook to a hopper. If you used an i frame and glued a magnet to the trigger and set an electromagnet behind it hooked to the iframe wires wouldnt work. You just run it so that when you hit far enough back to activate the switch you just fired the gun and then the electromagnet turns on applying a force similar to that of the magnet reppelling it. You would need a board that is capable of adjustable dwell. That would be it. The dwell would determine how long the magnet stayed on and how much push it gave. I would think any blowback board that has adjustable dwell would work. Now where you mount this is beyond me. It would have to probly be in your tank cover. I dont know but it seems like that would be a possible syste, seeing that all you would need is a single pulse from the electromagnet and like stated earlier the fact that when not charged an electro magnet is another peice of atractable metal it would cause it to draw in some. If it is too much pull before the electromagnet gets a signal you can put a trigger spring in. I would think that would outweigh a small earth magnet. The biggest problems i see with this is finding the electromagnet and normal magnet and where to mount this stuff. Rigging it would seem like the easy part. Maybe im missing something huge.Why doesnt anything work for me.Comment

liiek this (open attachment). Could the capacitors do the dwell thing by releasing the electricity slowly? Like how your stereo amp takes a second to slowly turn off?Comment

yes you can ajust the dwell like that it includes the relation between the size of the capacitor and the resistence of the circuit, of course your missing the sear seloniod in your drawing unless your draw plans on using the standard mechanical triggierGuns

Idk, that would be one funky trigger pull, heavy, ultralight, heavy, ultralight. I would rather use a trigger that didn't fluctuate.Comment

I thought up this same thing a year or two ago.
I wanted to take an intelliframe, the switch that is usually used for intellifeed, a magnet and an electro magnet..
I wanted to drill a hole in the back of the trigger, put the magnet in there, and then rig up the electromagnet so that it would be activated every time you pressed the trigger. I still dont see why it wouldnt work, Im just too lazy to make it happen. It would be like a assisted return :)Comment
