    But wait a minute, you are missing a historical fact. Now this may not apply to the balistic tendencies of lead vs paint.

    When rifled cannons were first introduced they were horribly inaccurate when you were forced to use round balls with them rather than the balistic projectiles made for them - might this apply to paintballs?

      Actually lead sphere's respond very well to spin stabilization. I don't know where you got your historical fact.
