lol yeah i guess so, but the tail would get rid of the turbulence behind the paintball, and i think eliminate vortex shredding?

couldnt you manipulate the seams and create a weight bias withing the ball? instead of the standard method of making them how about having the back half a powder and the front section liquid(so upon impact the 2 would mix)? ithe seams would cause turbulence decreasing vortex shedding, and the weight bias would keep the seams facing the right directionComment

except i think the powder side would end up in front, but it depends on the weight, also it would have no real effect on vortex shredding, i think, and i tested the cotton tail idea, i ended up sitting in a cloud of it, as soon as it left the barrel or maybe before but i dont know, it would rip off of the paintball, as for attaching fins to them, it kicks ***, i suggest you all test it out, and then carry aroufn a few tubes of them, the only thing is depending on the gun its imposable to load without taking the barrel off, and it sometimes might be hit by the bolt if its to far backOriginally posted by Rokudoncouldnt you manipulate the seams and create a weight bias withing the ball? instead of the standard method of making them how about having the back half a powder and the front section liquid(so upon impact the 2 would mix)? ithe seams would cause turbulence decreasing vortex shedding, and the weight bias would keep the seams facing the right direction

What kinds of fins did you use, and did you try the one and a half paintball idea?

Simunitions?
There are simunitions that are already being used for LEO training. Now they certainly are not the same thing as paintballs but they are a paintfilled marker, it just uses smokeless powder as a gass source rather than HPA.Comment
