I am having to replace the master cylinder on my car and was wonder in laymens terms is there an easy way or any way one person can do this job.

well, do you know how to bench bleed it? also, assuming you have power brakes, does the replacement come with a new booster or do you have to use the old one?

What's the problem that needs two people?

If it's just to bleed it, there are a number of gadgets that allow you to bleed a hydraulic system.

Personally, I have a piece of hose with a checkvalve that only lets the fluid flow out of the sytem. So, you attach the gadget, open the bleed nipple, fill the reservoir, pump the brake afew times, fill the reservoir, repeat until no bubbles are in the hose. Close the nipple and disconnect.

You can also get handpumps that let you attacht to the bleed nipple and suck the fluid through.
