But assuming it all works, how do you STOP firing?
That's what happens now in some setups. Its a problem.

There is a special iron Nu-Metal sheeting that prevents the lines of flux from passing through it. It actually redirects the lines of flux within the metal rather than letting them past. It makes a great magnetic shield.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Scott, email me or something. I have EMI (electromagnetic interferance) shielding paper onhand. It is a fibrous type of paper (like money) except the fibers are silver and conductive and one side of the paper is painted opaque black to block light too. It's like a continuous faraday cage. We use it wrap sensitive electronics susceptible to interferance... kind of like how chips are shipped in those anti-static grey plastic baggies.

It's about as thick 2 dollar bills - so it's pretty thin. I once wrapped my emags solenoid in it just to see what would happen.

Well, the emag was working like crap at the time and I thought it had something to do with the electromagnetics. It wasn't, so the change didn't do anything.
The problem was a loose plunger unscrewing from the sear arm.

I would need to know the application specifically. If its to trip a feed then its simply a matter of tapping off of the HES output in parallel. This should trip the feed before the marker actually fires.
