    video card suggestion

    Either:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130082

    or (for $20 more)

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130038

    or

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130066

Any card will require an updated PS.. It looks like the 7950 and 8800 series cards are pretty matched up, with the 8800's being DX10 - eliminating a future upgrade if I go to Vista in the future.. Any suggestions? I've never heard of EVGA but they have lifetime warranties like the XFX and BFG cards. Top rated, too.

EVGA make some of the best cards on the market and they have awesome warranties and great customer service. I wouldn't buy anything else.

Thats what im hearing. I think i'm giong to go with the OC'ed 8800 since its only $40 more than the 7950 and it gives me more of a window before I have to upgrade.. the 320mb isn't too spectacular but I think the card itself should be able to handle anything i throw at it, especially in XP.

Then go Radeon, better 2D image quality (3D too). The nVidia dancing naked pixie works better on Radeons than on a GeForce too.
