I'd like to upgrade from my naked fz6 to that street triple. I'd do something about the headlights though, I think they stick out to much.

the bike is a little too... not pink, though. it doesn't quite match.

Why does every cycle post turn into a gay fest about a helmet? If you are not secure with your sexuality enough to wear something like that fine, but that doesn't mean T0nnn isn't.

Nice bike, and for those that really "ride" we know why you got this over the Kawi.
Due to the objections of a certain Canadian, this space is now for rent.

          haha.

that burn would have almost worked, if you knew what you were talking about.

but no, seriously, that bike is a horrible color. pink *would* be so much better.

Considering that Trumpets nearly died off due to their insistence on keeping the 1960's look, this bike is worlds apart from the "old days" of the Tigers and Daytonas.

Nice ride........and it gives me eeeeevilll ideas

Triumph still makes vintage old school new bikes ...go to their website and check em out, they're pretty bad ***

airassault ......go get one or atleast go ride one you won't be dissapointed. I can't even express how smooth thing bike is ...and the 3 cylinder engine has a great sound to it

675's are awesome bikes. Look fantastic, handle like the dickens, and are British. I prefer the graphite colored one to that mustard color, but it still looks hot. I toured the Triumph factory in Hinkley last year and it was quite the experience. Those bikes are exceptionally well made. One of the guys in the group had been to the Ducati factory in Italy and was very impressed that so much of the bikes were made by hand and not with machines.

On the Street Triple thats coming out soon, the Speed Triple is in my opinion the best naked bike to be had on the market. To me it looks like it will kick you in the teeth and then curb stomp you. Plus, it has a triple engine which sounds fantastic. The Street Triple looks to be an exceptional bike for the small naked bike category. It really only has the Yamha FZ-6 and the Duke Monster dark to contend with, so it should do well.

It's a shame that they don't offer the naked version of the FZ6 over here in the states. I think it would sell much better than the faired FZ6 (I think it's kinda ugly). I converted my FZ6 to a naked version, but I've got a different headlight. I don't have any good pictures of mine though.

I've never understood that. sure, machine based mass production doesn't necessarily scream quality, but i'd trust the precision of a machine over that of a person.

"Hand made" is a figure of speech.

Certainly, no man bent those tubes with his bare hands or fused them together via laser vision.

In a first world country, "hand made" simply means that a man inspected and placed those parts into an assembly jig prior to another man firing up a welder. ie more care taken during assembly.

In a third world country, "hand made" means that they don't have the tools necessary to do it any other way.
                            God gave you a soul.
                            Your parents, a body.
                            Your country, a rifle.

                            Keep all of them clean.

umm, what? I'm not oblivious to manufacturing. I said I'd trust the precision of a machine over that of a person. I'd trust a part made with a CNC machine over that of a manual bridgeport. I'd trust a robotic system over a jig and TIG welder. I'd trust a manufactured circuitboard over a hand solder job.

I'm also mostly oblivious to manufacturing. I just assume that there is much more human interaction involved in the manufacturing process. Specifically in the quality assurance part. A machine produces the part, but it is carefully monitored and inspected by real people to make sure it is up to snuff.
