anyone want to help me pick a camera?

    at this point i'm considering:

i'm looking for input, especially if anyone has tried either of these cameras before. one feature i'm looking for is a camera that can shoot video by pressing and releasing the button, then pressing again to stop. that's something thats hard to find out before actually buying the camera.
xvalve, ule body, logic vert frame, WWA barrel
    68/30 PE nitro tank

i own something similar to the first choice (or list).. I've been very happy with my Canon SD500 and I use it for Land and as an Underwater camer (of course you have to buy the underwater case for it )..

My cousin on the other hand own the lower end Nikon, both choices have the pretty much ahve somewhat similar features. But IMO, I Love the Canon since the fact that it has worked for me well.

    Hope this helps,,

Check out TigerDirect as well. I picked up a HP 527 for 100 bones a few months back. I am really happy with it as the pics come out well, the video is great I think for a camera and all you gotta do is push the button to start and push again to stop... comes in handy when you are filming while riding...

I had a budget of $200 when I shopped and so with that camera, 10 rechargable batteries, 512 SD Card, 2 Gig SD Card, SD Card Reader/ThumbDrive, battery charger, case, and 3 year crash and burn warranty I think I came out right at 210 or so...

Plus I wanted a good ZOOM which this has 21X... 3 Optical 7 Digital... I think that's it...
