    Message from Martin's wife

Hi this is Carol ,Martins wife....

Looks as though he is going to lose from 9 inches below his knee down ..he is going through so many surgeries at the moment, we are limiting visitors to avoid infection and limiting phone calls to help reserve his strength.

If you would like to send a card or other ...you can send it the house and I will make sure he gets it...

Thank you for all the well wishes ,and please keep him in your thoughtsand prayers...

. If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.

If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them.

Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

It was changed back to tomorrow morning at 6:30 (sometime during 6). I am one of the organizers of the charity event, ask me any questions on here or PBN if you have any or are interested.

I am very sorry to hear about the amputation.

The relatively good news about that course of action, in my experience, is that the healing times from a BKA are significantly lower then trying to deal with the massive orthopedic trauma associated with the original injury. There will certainly be some rough times ahead, but with time, good physical and occupational therapy, and personal strength, most people do very well.

It is small comfort I know, and he will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts.

I see that there is a charity tourney, however being in Iraq I will not be able to participate. Is there a Paypal donations account or a bank trust account set up for him anywhere?

                    Get well soon.

                      I'm sorry to hear this.

A local field is run by a man with an amputated leg. It's great seeing someone with a disability be able to function so normally. Get better!

Thank you for the kind words.
We think that he will have a quicker and less painful recovery as well.
There is not a trust fund for him, but I gave our address in the previous post if you would like to send him a card.
                        Carol, wifey...

Glad he's (slowly) recovering. Pics of him would be cool, not sure if I want to see pictures of the injury though...
