Marbles my Bulldog just got skunked!!

i hate skunks!!
my dog was just skunked by one in our apartments parking area that was hiding under a pick-up.

didn't get hit bad, she was running around the truck trying to get to the face of the skunk.
she wanted to play with the damned thing!!

best stuff to get rid of skunk is Hydrogen Peroxide & Baking Soda.

i have the baking soda, i don't have any hydrogen peroxide!!!!


so far Marbles has been bathed with baking soda, shampoo, bar soap, and a left over can of pasta sauce (doesn't really do much but every little bit helps.)

and i just ran out of the hydrogen peroxide yesterday!!!

the tomato juice thing is more myth than fact.
if it's just a light hint of the skunk juice it can work but don't bet the farm on it.

the Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda is what we use back in the day when i worked for a dog groomer.

She in an English Bulldog. aka British Bulldog or just Bulldog.

the crissis would seem to be over for the moment, everything i used seems to have worked.
the smell appears to be gone.

Don't use too much hydrogen peroxide, or else you're turn your dog into a blonde. Trust me, I've done it before.
If the smell comes back, use Natures Mirecule(sp?) and brush the dog a lot.
Its works wonders

i was watching an episode of myth busters and tomato juice was actually one of the best ways of removing the skunk odor that they tested.
