OK! Last night I was just thinking. That would be so wierd if like just one day "aliens" took EVERYBODY on their ships and just like killed/studied/probed us all. Seriously guy/gals think abotu all these things. It could happen any day. There would be nobody on the earth. Also just think about what it could be like when you die. You could just sit there in the dark like the end of a game. You just wiat in the dark untill everybody playing dies. What if there were no Heaven?!?!? It gets very eerie when you think about it. It is so wierd.

That is kinda weird, but i was always under the impression there wasnt a heaven so it doesnt seem so bad to me. The entire earth empty would be rather strange.........

That is weird. but i remember when i was bored and thought of the aliens taking over the planet scenario also. But the twist was that the only thing that could kill them are paintballs. OMG, that would rule!

The most sad thing is, in like 55 million years, this earth wont even be here, thats when they say the sun will go Supernova and expand and engulf the planet. That really makes you wonder what the point of all this is...so live life to the fullest!!! Cause it is so short in the grand scheme of things.

I always thought Death would be like an everlasting dream. Think about it, when you die, you won't know it. You'll just be gone. Think of your life so far and then think about something happening and not knowing that you are dead. You just end. Then all those expirences in the past are gone and the memories. Its pretty friggin sad to think about it. Imagine dying in your wifes arms or something. Would you die happy? Would you know it?

I dunno, I just ramble. You just have to wonder how people risk their lives. I really hope there is something after death, becasue if there isn't, what would happen?

Im kinda scared to die, Think about it for a second...Look how much fun some of us are having? Some of us have grand lifes and love everything about our life and some of us take it for granted. Im just living my life day by day, Im just carful enough not to screw it up like some people. Just think if you messed up and went to jail for 40 years of your life, talk about scary. Was you life a waste? Were you sent here on a mission to ruin someone elses life? I wonder if thats what goes through a killers mind? I dont want to find out. I just want to live a full life and make it all worthwhile.

actually zen buddhists spend quite a lot of time doing just that. it's very hard to do. usually you'll have some kind of thought flittering through your head. not thinking about anything at all is difficult. being able to have your mind completely clear of all thought is supposed to be a major step toward heaven. so in a way you're right.

I am not scared to die, think about it, when you are dead, it wont matter how much fun you had when you were alive. if you wont remember any of this anyways, its strange, it seems that your life would be gone in an instant if there is no way to look back onto it... think about it. If you have a movie and there is no way to rewind it to play it, you can never watch it. But I beleive that there will be somthing after death. There are people that have died and seen what people are doing in the real world, like the doctor that came in the room after they died to help them, then after they were revived, the person remembers them healing them. how would you explain that?

And another thing is, if we are going to all turn to ghosts, after the world is destroyed after a while, where would we go? Would we go to a different inhabited planet to "haunt" them? Strang to think about.

I think that people just die and maybe their thoughts and memories just linger around on the earth somewhere. Kinda like a ghost but it's not really a manifestation. Heck, ever watch serial project lain or ghost in the shell? Our memories and thoughts could live on the internet or a computer something. Maybe dead people will become AI in the future...

I know where I'm going when I die, so I'm not really scared of death, but I do have that "love for myself" thing to where I don't want to die, even though I know the afterlife is much better.

What if when you die you switch to another world starting where you left off and it happens so quick you don't know your dead. Although in the other world you are gone. Get what I'm sayin? Like I could be dead already but I swtiched to this new world so quick and taking off when I did in a flash. Like im dead but this is a new world and you don't know about it and life just continues forever.

I'm with Major on this one...I know where I'm going when I die and frankly...I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THERE!!!! WOOHOOO!!

As for thinking about the earth and the future....read the book "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells. It's great fiction.

Read it before the movie comes out....btw that movie is gonna rock!!

This book was written long long ago and has some interesting ideas about what the far far future of earth will be like.

It's only a story though.

MajorDamage and beam...

How do you know what the afterlife is going to be? Did someone tell you or something? I can't fathom the idea that someone knows where they're going to go when they die.

I know someone who was dead for 3 days....and came back to life! He told me about it. I figure if anyone is qualified to tell me about what happens after we die it would be him.

BTW...if you doubt that...there are tons of people who saw him die and saw him after he came back.
