march into your local afees commisary (the grocery store thats on any millitary base for you un-knowers..)

and find someone and ask "i want to buy some MRE's, can you point me in the right direction please"

they will take care of you

beleive it or not , its a stocked item at any millitary commisary

the reason why all the true GI ones at the surplus stores are almost expired is because for them to even get their hands on them the millitary has to DRMO them, so they legally have to be almost expired before they can sell them as surplus

there is "not for indvidal civilian or commercerial sale" plastered all over them

everything else you see for sale, isnt real, they are copies

i was watching a TV show one time, and the kid on there said the most accurate name for an MRE i had ever heard

        Meal Refusing to Exit

i never really had a problem with the constipation.. but then again, the month i lived on them, we were in a real world, no **** chem warefare environment, so pooping in a chemsuit wasnt really something you wanted to attempt much in the first place
