Sure, it's only the third of October. But nobody likes being that guy going out to parties in a crappy costume that got thrown together that evening and is neither clever nor scary. What're ya'll thinking of doing this year?
Originally, I was going to be the janitor (from Scrubs) and my roommate was going to be J.D. and I was going to play pranks on him all night. I found the Sacred Heart patch here, and the rest of the outfit would be pretty simple to put together. If I was feeling really saucy, I would've recreated the name badge in Photoshop with my picture, and just the word JANITOR or something. Anyway, none of this really matters, because I changed my mind already, so feel free to take that idea and run with it.
I'm going to be Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale in American Psycho). I'll wear a suit with a knee-length clear raincoat over top, and I just ordered 100 custom business cards that I'll hand out all night. I may or may not carry around a tape/CD player with nothing but Huey Lewis and the News. Maybe I'll just bring a CD and hijack the music of whatever house I'm at. *shrugs*
My roommates are toying with the idea now of all going as different Christian Bale characters. I think that would be a neat gimmick to show up to parties as, but I doubt they'll follow through and I also doubt that many people would pick up on it.
