    New vehicle!

We went to a government surplus auction today and ended up bringing home a new vehicle for my wife and kids to ride around in. 2001 Expedition, super clean, 90,000 miles, Triton 5.4L v8, 4wd, auto, etc. I'm just glad she won't have to drive that 97 intrepid anymore... I really didn't care much for that car!

Anyways on to a few pics!

    Front:

    Pass side:

    Driver's side:

Future plans include a small lift and some 33's, maybe a bull bar, rear tire carrier, and some extra lights... but that'll be awhile down the road.

There is your problem right there. Plastic connecting rods.

PS Like the Powerstroke in the background. 6.9 or 7.3? Edit and the tractor.
        This space for rent.

Eh they're powdered metal con rods and should be fine as long as the wife doesn't hotrod it too damn much!

The powerstroke in the background is actually a reg-cab model and it's got the 7.3L powerstroke in it.

The tractor in the background is a farmall M.

And hell no I don't stop being a redneck!!!

Got any pics of it? If so I'd like to see em!

We've actually got 4 "M" tractors.... none of them are like show quality, but 3 are in good shape, and one is kinda tore up. One has a farmhand loader on it and we use it all the time, The one you see above in the pic has a 3-point on it so we use it for blading roads and around the yard, mowing, digging post-holes, mixing concrete, etc. Another one has a single front and we use it for wheel-packing furrows to help get the water through, and the other one just sits.

I sold it three days after I finished. It is in Kernersville NC now. I haven't found any pictures yet. I'll keep looking.

Ever think about selling the "M" that just sits around?

Actually my dad wants to start restoring them one of these years and wanted to use that one for parts...

There's a bunch of M's and H's and other old tractors around this area at all the farm equipment places and auctions. About 4 years ago the M's were selling for pretty good money, but they've come down quite a bit since then. In fact the M with the single front that we use for wheel-packing we only gave 900 for and the only real thing wrong with it is that it smokes a bit.

I could keep an eye out for you if you want me to.

That'd be great. I'm itching for one. They are the best made in my mind.

That'd only be the coolest kid transport EVER!!!

I was trying to convince the wife to let me find an early sixties ford fairlane station wagon, but she wanted something newer...

                        something such as these:
