hmm. ESRB rating of Teen. i guess 11 is teen. as the saying goes, "the gene pool needs some clorine."

MMO's are the least of this kid's problems. he already is showing an addictive personality, lack of anger control, and unattachment from reality. another reason why video games can be bad.

remember the aussie 15 year old who was freaking out his parents cause he was playing wow for 17 hours a day? i still find it funny, 15. you cannot own a credit card. parent is the holder. and they didnt just cancel his account. or if they couldn't change it cause he changed passwords or some such, cancel the credit card.

wow, while trying to find the story about it, i find this. http://gaygamer.net/2007/07/31_yearo..._arrested.html

looks like wow is the new myspace.com for child molesters.

btw, ffxi is way better. lol

There are two ways to interpret your words:

Sarcastic and funny, or sarcastic and a jerk. And there's room for neither in this thread. I do believe the appropriate thing to have done would have been to say, "Hey Empyreal Rogue, you might want to think about taking that link down. You may have overlooked something."

And knowing myself I would have said, "Oh CKY_Alliance, you're right. I did overlook something. Thank you."

But, clearly, and most especially from reading all your other posts, you fall into the "sarcastic jerk" category. So I guess that's why I'm sitting here completely unsurprised by your reaction.

So please, if you don't have anything relevant to say in regards to this obviously stressed and traumatized (Yet clearly mentally ill) child, then don't post anything at all. M'kay?

See the sarcasm wasn't directed at you, more so the rules of the forum. I've seen videos taken down and people banned for posting videos with "bad" words in them, so I figured I'd say something instead of reporting you to the mods. The chances of action being taken are 50/50 anyway since the mods seem to pick and choose who they want to enforce the rules on.

I thought I was being nice, I posted, you asked me to elaborate on my post so I did. Obviously you didn't like something about it so now Im a jerk. Fine by me..

The sound clip is very entertaining, people become so obsessed with WOW it is riddiculous. Imagine if people could dedicate the sort of time they do to games and apply it to something constructive..I myself have been pretty entagled in a game before, but never to the point that I take action outside of the game...amsusing none the less.

                      Does that appease you?

Ahh, honestly I didn't know or even think about that. I really thought the sarcasm was aimed solely at me. Please accept my apology for being brash and defensive (<--Not sarcasm).

And yeah it is ridiculous how obsessed people have become. But from someone that has been playing as long as I have (Release), I'm not surprised at all really. Probably why I'm laughing more than feeling sorry for the poor child.

Me and my Dad both played since release but when he died 6 months I didn't have the heart to play anymore. It wasn't until I stopped that I realized how much time I was putting into the game and how much I was rejecting my family and friends because of it.

Sorry it took so long to catch. I was busy with death. Life is more important then the net or any Forum. Are you part of..........

We cant read ALL post in ALL threads.

Not all is what it seems to be to you. Next time be part of the answer and just REPORT it. That goes for anybody else who sees the rules being broken.

Just because I hate to ban folks dont mean I wont. See edit on first post and Ban list.

                              Peace Out
