its ok. i'll give it that.
here is a great place to start if you are looking for computer info. i actually found a few tech-website's i still read, and i've even had industry pros look at them and say they are good.
Our off topic forum. (You mean there are things other than paintball??) Please keep your posts civil, and refrain from topics that are likely to start problems. (NOTE: Any thread may be closed for any reason.)
i really really don't reccommend OCing ram unless you have the money to replace it. when you change the timings you usually need to change the voltage. and unless you have a fan over them, watercooling, or some other method, you cut the life of the chips in half. and that's if you don't fry it by increasing the voltage by .2volts. just buy ram with the tightest timings you can.
good info about ram:
e-mag 226
flashed with 1.31 -
thanks for the info, I know about toms hardware, great site. I've heard of hardocp and an amd rep came into my store and I was talking to him about the amd quad core processors, he said hardocp overclocked one to 8ghz stable which is nutz he also said amd will be releasing a quad core bundle package much like intels on http://www.retailaccess.com/ but I dunno when that is going to happen.Comment

Is Tom's any more reputable than it used to be, they used to have a pretty shady reputation, but I'm not as up on things as I used to be. Hell, I'm still running an Athlon XP 2500+ at 2.3GHz with watercooling.Originally posted by flankthanks for the info, I know about toms hardware, great site.Comment
