I've still only got the Cummins minimill, but it's got an R8 taper in the spindle... All you have to do is take your chuck adapter out of the spindle, slap an R8 collet in there, and tighten the drawbar. Yours should be exactly the same.

I absolutely love the collets, they're a lot stiffer than just using the chuck to hold an endmill (not supposed to do that, but I did anyhow). And the set of collets only cost me about $46 from Enco. Definately worth it.

oh i know. I only use the mill for precision hole drilling. I have a sherline for milling now.

Just got an Xmag so I can cross that off the list, I figure one is enough right?? I'd love to trade it for a non-cnc but thats probably asking to much from the fat guy. It was more of a self b-day present anyways, since that is today afterall... However, it counts for christmas too b/c no birthday present alone should cost that much, and I'll be picking up some more stuff to complete it: new battery, tunablade (fingers crossed), feedneck mod, and maybe some grips. It'd be cool to find a good deal on another Xvalve n ule body for a pneumag build I'm considering but that is way back on the backburner for now.

Photo-wise I wish the Canon 5D would drop in price but it looks like thats not gonna happen til the PMA trade show in early 08... they would've announced a rebate offer by now I'm sure. So probably won't be looking at any new glass either maybe a prime lens or two... I'd love a new 50mm or perhaps even a 20mm wide angle. I need a studio lighting setup and more clients, always something

On the nonmaterial side of things I'd really love to see some old friends of mine who have moved away, in particular my dear friend Geoff who has all but forgotten his family and friends.

Just got all the set up done yesterday and ran the first project! Brand spankin new Haas VF5 5 axis. The 2 axis trunion is on backorder still

All I need now is about $60 worth of SS and a weekend or two.
