To all who have served, and to those who serve us still...

Photo Taken at FOB Grizzly, Iraq. April of 2007

On the 11th Day, on the 11th month it is our privilege to say thank you to those who have served our nation in times of war. Their sacrifice to this country is a debt that can not be repaid.

    The Soldier

It is the soldier, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the soldier, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.

It is the soldier, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.

    It is the soldier,
    who salutes the flag,
    who serves under the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag,
who allows the protester to burn the flag.

By Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Please take the time to recognize the Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen to whom the concepts of HONOR, COURAGE, DUTY, and COUNTRY are more then mere words.

Say a prayer for all those who serve, and for those at home waiting for their safe return.

    HOOAH!!!!

Thank you for all that have, are, and will serve. Your service is what makes this country great.

Huge thanks and mad props to those that still fight for OUR freedom.

Need to be humbled? Ask a vet. about his most harrowing experience. The hardships a soldier must endure are almost unthinkable. Might just give you a new appreciation for the thankless job they do everyday.
