    need some new sunglasses

Picking sunglasses is hard for me. They are kind of like that pair of old workboots you just love to death. But you need a good pair. They are really a personal preference, because of how they fit and how you like the style and such.

But make some reccomendations to me. I need a new pair.

I'm not going to buy some cheap-o pair, this is something I don't mind spending money on.

Post name, pics, and price if you can.

I was looking at these: Oakley canteens.

Well, I hate Oakleys because everybody and their brother have them. So, I recommend Dragon sunglasses (http://www.dragonalliance.com/products/sunglasses/ ). I've had a pair for 3 years now and they've survived a lot of abuse. I refuse to wear those Croakies and as such they have seen many hard landings on beach volleyball courts and concrete. Their pricing goes from about $60 for their basic non-polarized model up to around $250ish for some of the other models. I really enjoy the styling of the brand too. Just edgy enough to stand out, but not ridicilous like some of those other companies.

      Those dragon things are fugly.

I don't particularly care for the style of oaks you linked to [mine are older straight jackets, they look like the XX] but I love mine. Durable [especially great due to the no-screw construction... everything pops back together], high performance, really good lenses. I'm sure you can't really go wrong with Oakleys

I like my Oakley fives. Best glasses I have ever had. I have sat on them so many times and they just pop back together.

Gargoyles. Definately Gargoyles. First because "Aanold" says so. Second because they will stop bullets. Third because the style is back "in".

Ive had 3 pairs of optic nerves.. i love them not many people wear them and they are a great deal! Durable and affordable! https://www.nerveusa.com/index.php? i own some banshees and quadrants. I beat the heck out of my first pair (owned em for 3 years) but finally lost em. The 2 pair I have now have taken every beating Ive dished out and prospered. Definately a brand you can own 2 or more styles of, treat em like crap and still rock on with some cool shades!

Oakley FTW. I am not sure what style I have, but they are ~8yrs old. IIRC they were 200 when I purchased them (I also get 50% discount so 100 was not that bad). I swear if I ever loose/scratch them I will cry.

                    3 words: Costa Del Mar
I have had tons of sunglasses, oakley, bolle, etc nothing comes close to the optics of the Costa Del Mar's. I've got a polarized set of their triple tails right now and they are amazing.
