    Assassin's Creed...

Just picked up my Limited Edition from GameStop...they jsut got their shipment in at 5:45pm here in Chicago...

It has been getting plenty of 9/10's reviews except for IGN which has failed on many accounts on reviews...

Time to break the seal and seal some graves..

Nov 13th is the release for Gamestop...

I have assassinated the 1st guy (of 9) and I have to say its pretty fun...

..So far the only down side is that they basically lead you by the hand into the 1st city, then after that its rinse and repeat...but repeat in different ways...

so i get the impression that this game is kind of like the Thief series, only your objective is to kill a certain target instead of stealing a particular item? I really enjoy the sneaking around of certain games

i tried it, and the story is VERY original, and the combat, at first, is very intuitive.

it does get very repetitive, even within the first few hours

They story is really good IMO...Yes it does get repetative...but if you don't mind just doing 3 investigations the story can go alot quicker....I prefer to do at least 4-6 or the information gathering. I really love the city of Acre above the rest since some of the look out points are AMAZING!

                *SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!! BELOW*

DONT ALWAY GO to the machine and lay down. Once you find your cabinet with clothes in your room open. Use it and get the card info. You can them roam out of your room when the 2 people leave and do some "assassin" work by getting info by breaking into their computers. YOU NEED THEIR "pens" if you wlk up to the doctor you can pick pocket his pen from his coat and can access his computer...The girl's comp. I forgot how I got into hers. Basically keep investigating checking the e-mails each time you get the chance because they get new e-mails every time they take you out of the machine. After the last "memory block" the ending is really interesting....
The e-mails are like real life e-mails...so start at the Bottom and read the replies going up...

                *BIG SPOILER BELOW*

After the last level use your "eagle vision" and look around your room and in the machine's room. ITS VERY CLEVER if you do some research outside of the game.
