    Global Warming blah,blah,blah....

True or not, natural or not, the fact remains as day is to nite, as dark is to light, as one is to zero, Nature will find a balance. If we are in fact nudging it in one direction, she'll just nudge back and wipe out 2 or 3 billion of us. Big flippin' deal. Thats not even half of China.

Reality is that we as a world are not going to change our ways & Nature will do what she must to maintain that balance.
Who really gives a flyin' poostick anyway???

People are like cockroaches, unless you wipe out every last one of us, the scourge of humanity will survive and prosper somehow.
So just continue to do what you do, enjoy it while it lasts, and God will be there to sort it all out when the big plug is finally pulled.

To sum it up: i was born and raised in the best city, in the best state, in the most prosperous country the world has ever known. I live only minutes from every type of beauty nature has to offer & try not to abuse these gifts. I thank God daily for all my good fortune...

...but if you think i'm gonna stroke myself out worryin' about what could be, a distant "maybe", you're a fool. I owe it to God and those who will never have to enjoy tha hell outa what i was given. When its time for me to go, I go, but untill then...

How much annual snowfall does Atlanta average?
Haha, first of all Atlanta DOESNT get snow. But that's besides your point.
I agree that there have been studies shown that the average temperature of the earth is rising - this is pretty much indisputable. What I disagree with is the fact that Humans are accelerating it. I'm not OPPOSED to the view, just skeptical. I have not seen ONE SHRED of evidence for it. Thus, I shun the whole scare.

One scientist and one article like this is enough to convince you that global warming is completely wrong, even 90%+ of scientists saying it's happening?

I would be very surprised if any scientists DENIED the fact that it's happening.
What I'm waiting for, however, are the scientists who believe that global warming is anthropogenic.

give me a list of every scientist in the world and their ACTUAL position on Global Warming, then spout out your 90%+ "facts". Global warming completely wrong? I never stated that, I believe the Earth is warming, that it is cyclical and that I don't care. It doesnt affect me, its not going to affect me and I fully believe that the cycle will be reversed by the Earth and a cooler period of the sun.

what will affect me is a bunch of blow hard liberals with "Michael Moorish Facts" who want to change my lifestyle for the worse while they live in their expensive homes wasting more electricity in a month than I have in my 26 years on this planet.

and there is little to NO evidence that CO2 does anything to increase the temperature of the Earth.

Maybe you should have looked it up so you'd actually know what the hell you were talking about. It wasn't a prank. It was a show, created as radio entertainment, and billed as such both before and throughout the show. True, it inspired fear in some (though tales of 'panic in the streets' have likely been exaggerated), but only those who refused to listen to the information that was already being given to them.

Hand cites studies by unnamed historians who "calculate[d] that some six million heard the CBS broadcast; 1.7 million believed it to be true, and 1.2 million were 'genuinely frightened'".[1] While Welles and company were heard by a comparatively small audience (in the same time period, rival station NBC's audience was an estimated 30 million), the uproar that followed was anything but minute: within a month, there were about 12,500 newspaper articles about the broadcast or its impact, while Adolf Hitler cited the panic, as Hand writes, as "evidence of the decadence and corrupt condition of democracy."[1]

Later studies suggested this "panic" was far less widespread than newspaper accounts suggested. However, it remains clear that many people were caught up, to one degree or another, in the confusion that followed.

Robert Bartholomew and Hilary Evans suggest in Panic Attacks that hundreds of thousands of people were frightened in some way, but note that evidence of people taking action based on this fear is "scant" and "anecdotal." Indeed, contemporary news articles indicate that police were swamped with hundreds of calls in numerous locations, but stories of people doing anything more than calling up the authorities typically involve groups of ones or tens and were often reported by people who were panicking, themselves.

Later studies also indicated that many listeners missed the repeated notices that the broadcast was entirely fictional, partly because the Mercury Theatre (an unsponsored "cultural" program with a relatively small audience) ran opposite the popular Chase and Sanborn Hour over the Red Network of NBC, hosted by Don Ameche and featuring comic ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and singer Nelson Eddy, at the time three of the most popular figures in broadcasting. About 15 minutes into the Chase and Sanborn program the first comic sketch ended and a musical number began, and many listeners presumably began tuning around the dial at that point. According to the American Experience program The Battle Over Citizen Kane, Welles knew the schedule of the Chase & Sanborn show, and scheduled the first report from Grover's Mill at the 12 minute mark to heighten the audience's confusion. As a result, some listeners happened upon the CBS broadcast at the exact point the Martians emerge from their spacecraft.

                        .

This supposed "prank" as you call it certainly was a way to get more listeners, just like producing quality television shows today is a way to gain more viewers by TV networks. It was an entertainment show, and was advertised as such, just like fictional television programs today. The fact that people chose to ignore the warnings of fiction is their own damn fault, CBS wasn't out to manipulate anybody. They actually toned down the broadcast from what Wells originally wanted to do, which you can also read about in that same wikipedia article you decided to link me to.
