Are you running stock shackles? If so, I think you could probably get away with an inch or so. Look into the terraflex revolver shackles. Ive heard good things about them.

Well. We owned a TJ for a while, it has much different suspension but I did get the bug to mod stuff... I looked into a lot about jeeps online at Pirate etc...
I'm not positive, but I think you would be okay with just a 1 inch shackle lift.
As for the spool.
Why not an ez locker or something mechanical. Much cheaper than cable, air, or electronic lockers. Better handling than a spool.Comment

had a spool in the bronco one trip through the Rubicon. it worked much better than no locker, obviously, but vs the current ARBs or even something like a ez it wasn't that great. pulled us to the side a few times pushing us straight instead of a hard left. IE towards the edge of a cliff instead of around the bend, haha.Comment
