Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died Nov. 27, a day after the Pro Bowl player was shot at home by what police say was an intruder. He was 24.

I'm impressed that you managed to misspell his name in the title when you correctly copied it in the body of your own post.

In any case, I've been way more upset about this the past couple days than I thought I would be. It really sucked going to bed Monday night hearing positive signs about recovery and responsiveness, only to wake up Tuesday morning to hear he had passed. He was THE Redskins defensive player, and one of the players I've most enjoyed watching the past several seasons. The fact that he was murdered in a home invasion with his girlfriend and child in the room after really getting his life together is just such a terrible way for things to end.

We're all gonna miss the meast. RIP #21.

I heard about this on SportsCenter the other day, and man, that's the worst, especially for his friends, family, and teammates. It's amazing how within a day everything changes so drastically.
