Actually that is Army's ACU ( I think that is what they call it). The Air Force looks similer but when you look at AF's it's more of tiger stripe version from Vietnam era.

At 1st I didnt like it till some people on my base got them. Thing that sucks is no command or wing patch anymore and you have to where that hat and not wing hat. But good thing is no more ironing or starching (yeah what they said about BDU's and everyone did) and with sued boots no more polish

LOL I didnt get that. But your right. Were going to chair force since aircraft is getting fewer (if you still have them after 2005 BRAC).

They article is partially wrong. There is no blue in the ABU. Trust me, I'm wearing it right now. This uniform is better than the crap shoot General Jumper came up with a few years back. The damn thing had little AF logos all over the place.

However, there is ultimately no need for a battle uniform for about %99 of people in the AF.
