Anyone heard about this? My friend sent me a link to youtube with a radio interview with Mel Waters I'm only on part two, but I wiki'd it and it seems pretty interesting.

I figured I'll listen, true or false it seems like a decent story...long though..

Oh crap... Here I go again.. Twice in one day.. Just don't let Behemoth find out...

Mels Hole was originally aired on a Late Night Radio Show call "Coast to Coast AM" or C2CAM hosted by Art Bell. For those that have never heard of C2C or Art Bell he was the co-author of the book that was made into the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"

I have a CD of the whole interview where at the end Mel sells the Hole and runs to Australia and due the the Purchase and Sales agreement tells no more about it.

There is so much more to the story now, the interview on youtube is 15, 10 minute segments.. and it is after he is back from Austrailia..


It is a second interview... some of it is so farfetched but then again the man did grow his own herbs that he got from indians...

Oh biggest problem I have.. at the beginning of this interview the radio host ask him if he has a Bible. Mel response yes, and the host tells him to go get it..he had one wherever he was because he didn't have to move. So here is a man who has a bible within 10 feet of himself, but he says a few times that he is not religious...odd

What you told me he pretty much covers in part 1 and 2 of the stuff on you tube...Oh and on the terra server there is a 5 mile-ish area that is not pictured, just whited out that he says is where his hole was..


I checked it out and it is actually whited out...

Not sure on the truth of the story..it's really out there, but not bad entertainment.

Not so odd, you don't need to be religious to have books of fiction. I still have my bible I was given as a child and Im a born again atheist.
