    Legos

So I'm sitting here at my uncles because I am too cheap to pay for my own internet, and he's got two kids. So I stumble across a lego magazine. There's some bad *** legos now.
I'm almost 22 and I have an urge to go out and buy a lego set and play with it. But I can just play with my cousins instead. Haha.

Anyone else still think legos are awesome?

I saw Slave I (Boba Fett's ship-star wars for the noninformed, who is the best character ) which I always died of having as a child but they never made it untill recently I guess. I so want it.

I break out my lego table every year or so and it makes me feel like a little kid again.does anybody else do sound effects when they play?

There is a 5000+ piece Millennium Falcon. It's full minifig scale. I want, but the wife says I can't spend $500 on a lego set for some reason.

Legos are expensive now though, at least the ones worth getting.

they always were pretty expensive, used to be 20+ $ for a simple little 20 piece space ship. and close to 200$+ for the bigger sets. i havnt looked at the prices lately

            IMO best kids toy ever!

Legos are what tinker toys can only dream of being.

I have a sack about your standard trashbag completely full. I'm 37 and would never think of getting rid of them.

Lego's can make the world go round. They have always been on the pricey side... even when it was just a box of building bricks... yeah just bricks i said, and honkin' rubber tires... ah those were the times..

even the master sets look simple compared to the sets they are puttin' out today, very kewl stuffs with an phenominal price tag. When the time comes though.. my kid will get some.

I have recycled mine to build mold walls for my castings... so they can be a justifiable business expense now... woot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dislike that they've gone to having so many large and unique pieces. I understand it makes the sets cheaper and easier to put together but c'mon!

Legos are awesome, though. For me, nothing gets better than the 2nd gen Space series. The one with the original Space Police and Blacktron.

The 1st gen series was just the guys with the diagonal stripe and the planet/ship emblem. 2nd gen, the original SP and Blacktron were introduced and man, they were awesome. It's also when the original Monorail came out. How I always wanted that toy... Basically all the sets from about '87 to '89. After they switched over to the new stuff it just kinda went downhill. Ice Planet was neat but I wasn't so crazy about the Magnetron stuff.

I still have 2 sea chests and 5 popcorn buckets (the big 3-type containers) completely full of legos. I need to start playing with them again.

And heck yeah I make my own sound effects!

EDIT: On the Lego website, they have a feature where you can upload your own picture. Under the MarsMission section, someone uploaded a pic of a blackpack-based flamethrower and gave the following description:
