Legos are awesome, though. For me, nothing gets better than the 2nd gen Space series. The one with the original Space Police and Blacktron.

The 1st gen series was just the guys with the diagonal stripe and the planet/ship emblem. 2nd gen, the original SP and Blacktron were introduced and man, they were awesome. It's also when the original Monorail came out. How I always wanted that toy... Basically all the sets from about '87 to '89. After they switched over to the new stuff it just kinda went downhill. Ice Planet was neat but I wasn't so crazy about the Magnetron stuff.
my favorite was the wild west series

My favorite was either ice warriors or later on aqua force. ice warriors was kinda old school, dunno if thats still around. They had a wicked battle ship thing, and two jetskis came off it, and it had a dock in the back for something.

I still have the custom base and HQ I built for my mini Lego empire back when I was in like 3rd grade. 2 of my friends and I built 3 separate empires from our vast collections and had a storyline going. 2 of us were at war with the evil empire of the 3rd friend. I've got that set up still in my basement and my medieval Legos set up in my room. Man, when I graduate college and ship out on deployment, I don't know what's going to become of those. Legos still and will always rule.

I still have my tool box full of lego's from when I was a kid, and somewhere in my adic is a castle my dad and I put together when I was like 12, I think all the horses and guys are still with it, I keep telling him one day I am going to glue it together and display it, but my wife is like... um no.....

I don't like it b/c its a castle or anything, it just something my dad and I built together when i was a kid.

I built mechwarrior models for yrs and sent the pictures into the lego magazine. I later heard that they based the bionicles of my models.

Ever run thru the house playing around and full speed step on on the the dang things and it sticks to your foot and you take an extra 3-4 steps before you can slow down and knock it off your foot

                    ^ i always hated that

i gave my kid my lego's recently ... he just builds towers. Unless i help him then it's robots.

I've always wanted a fullscale lego dude that resembled myself...

*always wanted to go to legoland or what ever it is...

I went to legoland in California over Thanksgiving this past year and it was pretty damn sweet! I picked up the technic combine while in the gift shop. It took me like 3 hours to put it together, but it's friggin awesome.

                      Here's a link to the combine... http://shop.lego.com/ByCategory/Prod...74&cn=373&d=74

Any set that had tank treads in it was like gold to me. If I didn't have any treads left, I'd just build cool little starfighters and stuff. I think I still have my Legos in the basement somewhere...
