    quick car question - headlights

so i had a headlight burn out, had a replacement, so i put it in and all works great.

but my question is this. how comes when my light burned out, i had brights, but no low-beams? it runs on the same bulb right?

Same bulb yes, but different filaments within the bulb. The low beams are usually used more often, so they burn out quicker.

Yes, remember to not touch the glass part of the new bulb. Even the smallest amount of oil from your skin will damage the bulb.
